Joel C. Barreiro is a Professional Engineer licensed in Texas and Oregon and serves as Principal of Joel Barreiro Engineering, a registered engineering firm in the State of Texas.
He has experience in over 100 structural and infrastructure projects across the United States and internationally, including work in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, covering buildings, industrial facilities, infrastructure, energy projects, and transportation structures such as bridges.
Joel brings a practical approach to engineering, focusing on constructability, efficiency, and code compliance, supporting projects from concept through construction. He has led multidisciplinary teams of 20+ professionals and works directly with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and reliable results across diverse project conditions.
As Engineer of Record (EOR), he is responsible for design integrity, technical decisions, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
